Summer is just around the corner and we are already planning for the BEST SUMMER EVER! If you are still in need of camp for your kiddos, we'd love to have you join us!! While our full-day camp is almost full, we do have some spaces remaining in our half-day program. Please check out our blog post about camp *here*!

Here is what we still have available as of today (3/19/24):

Full-day:

July 22-26 we have 4 two-day spaces (Tuesday/Thursday)

July 29-August 2 we have 5 five-day spaces (or they can be split into 2 and 3 day spaces)

August 13 we have 8 spaces

August 14 we have 2 spaces

Half-day:

We have spaces available every week

2024-2025 Enrollment Update

We had so much fun meeting so many wonderful parents at our Open House on Monday!! Thank you for coming out!! We have contacted everyone who submitted information on our Request for Enrollment Link on March 1st, and all of our spaces in our morning program are full. We have started a waiting list for the 2024-2025 school year, which you can find *here*!

We do have spaces available in our Afternoon Preschool Program for the 2024-2025 school year, and would LOVE to have your child join us!! Our afternoon program is offered Monday-Thursday with the option of four days or two-days (Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday). We offer one two-year old class, one three-year old class, and one four-old class. Our afternoon program is very similar to our morning program and our students will be invited to participate in our family events and activities throughout the year! If you would like to enroll in our afternoon program, please email ashley@coastaldayschool.com.

Thank you for your submission!! Your request has been time-stamped and we will begin processing the requests in the order they were received. Our admin team will start making phone calls on Tuesday morning to fill spaces. If you receive and accept a space, you will then receive a confirmation email with all the information you need to secure your space. Deadlines for fees and paperwork will be outlined in the email. Any missed deadlines will result in us giving that space to the next child on the list. Please check your Spam folders as our emails end up there a lot. 

If you have not filled out the Pre-Enrollment Form, please do so now. You can find that form *here* This helps us move the process along quickly. 

If you do not hear from us by Friday, March 8th, please contact us. Prior to that, our office staff answering the phones will not be able to tell you where you are on the list. You will need to wait for our Admin team to contact you. 

Please join us for our Open House on Monday, March 4th from 6:30 to 7:30pm. This event is for adults only and it's a great opportunity to tour our facility, meet our staff, and ask any questions you may have!

Open Enrollment Starts Tomorrow!!

We are SO excited for enrollment to open to new families tomorrow at 7pm! Please read our last post on how enrollment works *here*! 

We do have a limited number of spaces available for our morning preschool program. We would LOVE to be able to have a space for everyone that would like to join our CDS family, and while we are working to make that dream a reality, it is unfortunately not possible right now. However, we are offering our afternoon preschool again next school year with more classes and options!!! We are so excited to have this to offer and hope you will consider it if you are unable to secure a space in our morning program!! Our afternoon program will be offered Monday - Thursday with the options of two-days (Mondays and Wednesdays OR Tuesdays and Thursdays) or all four-days each week. The program is from 1:15pm to 3:45pm daily. We work to keep it as close to our morning programs as possible!! While it is not a guarantee to get to move to our morning program the following school year, we do offer our afternoon preschool students priority enrollment, prior to opening it the public, so it does give you a pretty big advantage as an existing student. 

When we opened our doors in 2006, I never imagined how many AMAZING kiddos and parents we would meet, how many WONDERFUL teachers we would have on our team, and that 17.5 years later I would still be in disbelief that I get to live out my dream!!! THANK YOU for your support of our little school!! We are grateful for another wonderful school year ahead full of learning and fun!! 

We hope to see you at our Open House on Monday evening from 6:30-7:30pm! This event is for adults only and a great time to ask questions, meet our staff, and tour our facility! 

Summer Camp 2024

2024

We are SO excited to be preparing for another fun-filled summer here at Coastal Day School!! We are open eight (8) weeks, offering both a half-day and full-day program for rising kindergarteners though middle school! Our full-day program includes a fun outing each day for our campers!

Our half-day program is from 9am to 1pm daily. Campers need a lunch, snack, and multiple water bottles each day. Please apply sunscreen each morning before drop-off. Half-day campers stay at Coastal and do not participate in field trips. Our staff provide fun and interactive activities to keep them engaged all morning long!! 

 

For campers in our full-day program, drop-off is between 7:30 and 8:30am. We ask that all campers arrive by 8:30am to ensure we can leave for our field trip on time. Our return time from the field trip will be listed on the field trip calendar and you are welcome to pick-up anytime after our return. All full-day campers must be picked up by 6pm. Campers need a lunch, snack, and multiple water bottles each day. Please apply sunscreen each morning before drop-off. We will reapply midmorning. We will gladly accept spray sunscreen donations throughout the summer…we go through a LOT! 

 

Tuition is based on what you enroll for, not what days your child actually attends. Once paperwork is submitted, we cannot change or take away any weeks registered for, and you will be required to pay for them in full. We do not make any exceptions to this policy. We provide a quality program with low student/teacher ratios, along with activities daily. It is important that we receive payment for every space reserved to continue providing the fun program our campers have come to love! We feel badly when plans change and parents are still expected to pay, but please understand that this is required to keep our camp open and functioning. If multiple parents were to ask each week to make changes, it would severely affect our ability to continue to operate, as it is difficult to fill spaces last minute when parents have already made other arrangements for their children once our program is full. Again, we will not make any exceptions to this rule for any reason.

 

We will begin registration in stages as outlined below:

~ Current students in our after school program and siblings can enroll starting February 1, 2024

~ Campers that attended summer 2023 and siblings can enroll starting 

February 15, 2024

~ Families that have attended Coastal for any program in the past can enroll starting March 1, 2024

~ New families that have not previously attended Coastal Day School can enroll starting March 15, 2024

To register your child for our summer camp program, we will need completed paperwork, along with the non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee. Spaces are first come, first serve.

Enrollment for 2024-2025

Happy New Year, everyone! We are so excited to be planning our 2024-2025 (what?!! how is 2025 even possible??!!) school year and are so eager to meet new families here in our community!!! We love that the last 17 years of business have granted us the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, many that have become dear friends. And we are SO excited that your family is interested in joining us!! Our school is full of amazing teachers and students and we are sure your little one would be a great addition! Our school year runs from the beginning of September through the end of May. Children must be the age of the classroom they wish to join by August 31^st. 

Every year we hold enrollment for new families on March 1st. We always host an Open House for families to come to prior to enrollment as a chance to tour our facility and meet our staff. If I'm being honest, the new year has crept up so fast and I feel very behind schedule. We are having a tough time figuring out when we can host our Open House with everyone's schedules filling up so fast. Because of this, we are going to do the Open House in reverse this year.

On Friday, March 1st at 7pm, the link below will be active to accept requests for enrollment. These submissions are time stamped and we will process enrollment in the order they were received. If you’d like a space, it is best to fill it out right at 7pm. This form is a request for enrollment, it does not guarantee a space. The only information we ask for on the form is a name and phone number. You do not pay a deposit or provide any additional information at this time.

We will then host our Open House on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. You will have the opportunity to tour our facility, meet our teachers, and ask any questions you may have. If you want to continue with the enrollment process, you will need to fill out the link below so we can gather more information to help us when we start processing the requests from March 1st.

Starting Tuesday, March 5th, we will begin to process all enrollment requests that were submitted on March 1st when the link went active. A member of our administrative team will call you to let you know if you have received a space or if you have been placed on the waiting list. Any family that receives a space will have one week to complete registration, which includes submitting a completed enrollment packet and submitting the New Student Fee. 

If you submitted the request for enrollment on March 1st, and receive a space, and were unable to attend our Open House on March 4th, we will offer a group tour during that week. We will only offer the group tour for families who received a space. Families on our waiting lists are only offered a tour if/when they receive a space.
